The vine can be freestanding or it can twine. The flowers are pinky purple. (Ignore ducks and morning glories in the background.) Please identify:

Looks like a sweet pea. There are lots of varieties, some more shrub-like and some vine-like; all varieties will climb if there's a trellis or fence available.

ReplyDeleteDid the seeds you get come from a pod and look a little like beans? Those are purple hyacinth beans! I think I can see the pods in the top of the top photo...
