Odd bug, flies, four legs?

This bug looked like a mercedes emblem or peace sign, in a way, at first. Seems only to have four legs. Disguised as tree parts, but flies. Anyone know what it is? Holly saw it first. It was at our house in Albuquerque.

    I dunno either--but they like to hang out in our greenhouse here in TX!
